Super Bowl Commercial
We had a spot in the Super Bowl available to us in February 2021, and brainstormed as a group on a way to make the spot have the feeling of togetherness when everyone was apart.
We also wanted to showcase the faces of the people that customers will see when they go into our stores; our people are what make us special. This television spot also needed to deliver a strong message for our online buying platform and our newly-minted 3-day return policy.
We had just one week to concept, storyboard, script, and cast the spot with our dealership employees. In order to execute, two video teams deployed to different sides of the Triangle to film our employees handing over keys in our stores, subtly showcasing our products behind them, while wearing store branding and smiling with welcoming faces. Many of the employees featured had kept their appearances in the spot a suprise to their friends and family, and so when the finished product aired as the first local commercial just after halftime of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' win over Kansas City, their phones and social media exploded. Website traffic on LeithCars.com spiked as well.
This spot is one that was a true team effort from start to finish, and is still one of our favorites on which to reflect when talking about Marketing accomplishments.

Tech Recruitment Banners
To achieve our company-wide goal of attracting and retaining top Service talent, we worked in tandem with the Service recruitment team. Marketing developed signage and other assets for use at recruiting events at NTI, Wake Tech, and large, local, on-site Cars and Coffee events. We chose real Service Advisors and Technicians to feature on these 6-and-a-half-foot pop-up banners that provide maximum visual impact at on location activations.

We had a goal to find a way to increase the supply of used cars company-wide, and capitalize on the fact that used cars had "never been worth more."
As a group, we brainstormed ways to provide a great customer experience, and make an impact in the community while also driving sales growth and profitability. For this event, we worked hard to secure a location that was central to our stores and to the public in order to make it easy to drive up and sell your car. Individuals from all departments within Marketing contributed to helping make the event a success. Specialty signage, forms, and commercials were created, press releases and media relationships were leveraged to get television and radio coverage. Additionally, Marketing worked cross-functionally with General Managers to staff the event, and to assist during the weekends with setup, breakdown, to greet customers, smoothing the introduction process for buying agents to offer on their vehicles.
